La Portineria is the perfect place for a short escape from everyday life. With us, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in peace and nature, take a dive into history without giving up comfort and convenience.
The building that houses our B&B was once the gatehouse that provided access to the Gheza family estate. Its unique structure, with its Arabic-inspired style, reflects the eclectic personality of its creator, Lawyer Maffeo Gheza, one of the most important figures of the twentieth century in Valle Camonica. Today the property belongs to our family, and inside, in addition to the botanical park and the panoramic garden overlooking the Davine stream waterfall, you'll find the Bignotti Cellars, which produce some of Valle Camonica's finest wines.
With its curious shapes inspired by the Arab world, La Portineria is a unique building. Meticulous restoration work has transformed it into an elegant and welcoming place where you can spend a relaxing and pleasant stay.
